Overjoyed by pianist Larry Fuller is his third as a leader and a quite stellar effort. Fuller possesses a wonderful touch on the keys that is a pleasure to hear. Add to this experience, the talents of drummer Lewis Nash and bassist Hassan Shakur, and you have a powerful musical trio at work. The project features a cross-section of nicely arranged tunes of various musical cultures and styles by composers that include Richard Evans, Ray Brown, Stevie Wonder, Ray Evans and Jay Livingston, as well as a couple of Fuller’s own contributions. Any tune he plays herein, is a thoroughly engaging experience. A magnificent recording.
