Singer Gayle Kolb’s Getting Sentimental is a simply fantastic. Kolb’s cool, confident delivery is a pleasure to listen to, a true feel-good album. The set list is comprised of a cross-section of tunes from the Great American songbook and a fewer less covered gems as well. The musicianship is on par with the vocalist, including Bobby Broom on guitar, Tom Garling on trombone,Joey Skoch on piano, Dennis Carroll on bass and George Fludas on drums. One of our favorite vocal albums of the year. Wonderfully well done.
