First Things First is the impressive recording debut of saxophonist and composer Andrew Gould. A product of New York City and various styles of music, Gould’s sound is reflective of this diversity. The project establishes him as a fantastic writer and accomplished player on the horn. Aiding Gould on this fantastic effort are Steven Feifke on piano and Fender Rhodes, Marco Panascia on acoustic and electric basses and Jake Goldbas on drums and percussion. Trumpeter Scott Wendholt and vocalist Ioana Vintu also make solid contribution to production as well. Don’t miss this outstanding work and talent!
