Carlon’s fluid saxophone work takes center stage, weaving together a soulful production of outstanding music and musicians. Co-produced with bassist Harvie S, the album also features the talents Eddie Allen on trumpet, Helio Alves on piano, and Willie Martinez on drums. The album is comprised primarily of wonderfully crafted and a couple of nicely arranged covers of classics. The recording is a vibrant display of Carlon’s harmonies and grooves that must be heard to be truly appreciated.
