A Little Love is the spectacular debut from singer Quiana Lynell. The Sarah Vaughn Jazz Vocal Competition winner’s stunning voice and delivery can be as gentle a breeze or as powerful as a storm. Produced by Brian Michel Bacchus, the album is a wonderful mix of soul, gospel r&b and jazz. The recording features tunes made famous by Irma Thomas, Nina Simone Duke Ellington, Chaka Khan, George and Ira Gershwin, as well as Donny Hathaway. The production opens and closes with original tunes by Alina Engibaryan and Joshuah Campbell. The music enhanced by the talents of Cyrus Chestnut on piano and Rhodes, guitarist Ed Cherry, bassist George DeLancey, vibes and Rhodes player Monte Croft and drummer Jamison Ross, who joins the singer for a duet on one tune. Lynell is a truly special artist who is a joy to hear.
