McCann’s handy work as a player and writer is the centerpiece of this fantastic artistic showcase, a production is comprised entirely of his songs. The fusionesque recording features stratospheric solos from McCann in this quartet-based setting. Equally solid performances are provided by John O’ Gallagher on alto saxophone, Henry Hey on piano, organ and other keys, Matt Clohesy on basses and Matt Ferber on drums. A truly superb recording.
