Karen Mack’s debut jazz album, Catch & Keep showcases her outstanding vocal talents on a mix of jazz standards, lesser-known gems, and original pieces. Co-produced and arranged by Peter Eldridge of New York Voices, who also plays piano and organ, the album features top New York musicians: guitarist Jesse Lewis, bassist Matt Aronoff, drummer and percussionist Jared Schonig, and percussionist Ben Wittman. Special guest appearances by Darmon Meader on saxes, Nadje Noordhuis on trumpet and flugelhorn, and Elliot Roth on piano and vocals further elevate the album, making this a sophisticated and heartfelt debut.
