Tabor willingness to pursue new ways into familiar mix of standards by Dizzy Gillespie, Bronislaw Kaper, Jimmy McHugh, Joseph Kosma, Juan Tizol, Duke Ellington and Benny Carter, gives this effort a very refreshing feel.
