Christian Artmann | The Middle of Life

Flutist Christian Artmann’s The Middle of Life is a fantastic work. The recording is a tremendous showcase of Artmann’s talents, featuring a complete collection of original compositions that run the full range of moods. Additionally, the wonderful abilities of his fellow musicians elevate the project. The superb quartet here includes Laszlo Gardony on piano, John Lockwood on bass and Youron Israel on drums. Elena McEntire provides vocals on a couple of tracks on the production, which is truly worth hearing.
