Some mainstays from the musician’s previous production return for this effort, including Mark Buseli on trumpet, Ned Boyd on saxophone and flute, Jamie Newman on organ, Scott Pazara on bass, and Richard Floyd on drums. The album’s conception during the COVID-19 lockdown allowed Laidler the opportunity to delve into his extensive collection of vintage fake books, unearthing and reshaping these musical treasures.
