Enrico Pieranunzi doesn’t just play the piano beautifully, he paints with it, and Dream Dance is yet another of his masterpieces. Pieranunzi composed and arranged all the songs on this release, which features the great Marc Johnson on bass and Joey Baron on drums. Whether it’s an uptempo calypso such as “Castle of Solitude” or a ballad like, “As Never Before”, this trio and the music they make fills the room with beauty and the ear with pure delight.
